We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and expert advice regarding their vehicle maintenance and repair needs. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, service procedures, and customer relations to ensure a positive experience for our clients.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their vehicle service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including oil changes, alignments, shocks and struts replacement, and air brake inspections.
- Utilize automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service recommendations, and completed work.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
- Promote dealership services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay updated on industry trends, dealership offerings, and vehicle maintenance best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive service or sales within a dealership environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including shocks struts, automotive diagnostics, oil changes, alignment, air brake systems, and suspension components.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive certifications are a plus.
