Assembler

Summary
Performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce evaporative cooler parts or complete units by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Loads and unloads material onto or from assembly line, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Assembles and places parts in specific relationship to each other.
• Bolts, screws, clips, and fastens parts together.
• Operates machines, such as rivet machines, to perform force fitting or fastening operations.
• Operates pneumatic tools, such as drills and screw guns.
• Works at various work stations as production needs require.
• Performs various tasks along assembly line depending on model of unit.
• Performs final packaging of product; cardboard assembly, installation of protective bag, labeling, and banding.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 LBS.

• The employee is regularly exposed to moving equipment and moving mechanical parts.
• The noise levels vary in each work area. The employee must adhere to all PPE requirements in each area.
• The employee must be able to perform tasks in work areas where the temperature is above or below room temperature (72 degrees Fahrenheit).
• The employee will work in a drug-free environment. The employee must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to, and pass, random drug testing. Both of which are provide and administered by outside agencies.

• Denison, TX 75020: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
