Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that promote literacy education and overall student development.
- Support students in their learning processes by providing one-on-one assistance as needed, particularly for those requiring additional help.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain an orderly and productive learning environment.
- Help supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and transitions between classes.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop instructional materials and adapt lessons for diverse learners, including preschool and toddler care settings.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to childcare and working with children on the autism spectrum.
Experience
- Previous experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting is preferred not necessary.
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques and strategies for engaging preschool-aged children is advantageous.
- Experience in childcare or toddler care environments is a plus.
