What are the responsibilities and job description for the INVENTORY CLERK position at Champion Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram?
Essential Job Functions : (Responsibilities include but not limited to) :
- Issuing stock numbers and stocking in New and Used vehicles
- Issue purchase checks for used vehicles
- Process Dealer Trades incoming & outgoing vehicles
- Issue Dealer Trade difference checks
- Communicate effectively with other dealers for collecting funds.
- Maintain New & Used vehicle inventory schedules.
- Review trade-in vehicle documents for accuracy of paperwork.
- Make payoff checks for trade-in vehicles
- Verify CIT paid for customers, prior to mailing payoff-check.
- Prepares journal entries for adjustments made to the schedules, and submits to management for authorization
- Month End reports and schedules
- Meets critical deadlines as required for financial statement reporting
- Assists with flooring audits on an as-needed basis
- Daily Deposit
- Maintain all reports that have to do with daily deposit, including Parts and Service Cash Sales open tickets
- Maintain NVDR Daily Report
- Serve as Backup Cashier when needed
