The Regional Field Service Technician is responsible for travelling to various medical facilities to service and repair medical recliners in a company provided vehicle. The technician will take ownership of their customer base and become a trusted partner. This position is full time with a typical weekly work schedule of 4 10-hr days Monday through Thursday, with hours scheduled mostly from the afternoon to late evenings. Overtime hours up to 8-10 hours per week are also possible within those 4 days. Overnight travel may be required from time to time, up to 2 nights per week, with company-paid meals and travel expenses. Some variation in work schedules can occur from time to time, based on customer schedules and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Position requires self-management to properly meet customer timelines and manage local inventory
- Use iPad to access work orders, use online resources, and prepare service orders to send to Operations Management
- Success in this environment depends on strong, sustained high work ethic
- The goal is to drive service success, give a continuous high level of customer satisfaction, and retain customer loyalty
- High school or equivalent required
- Two years of technical tool use required
- Previous leadership experience, especially in field services or mechanical maintenance, is preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
- Ability to travel overnight Mon-Wed in any given week is required
- Must be able to maneuver up to 120 lbs
- Days/Afternoons/Evenings Availability & Travel up to 75% Mon-Thu is required
