Operating facilities in Pennsylvania, Champion constructs pre-fabricated building sections, or modules, in a controlled factory setting that are then transported to the construction site and assembled to create permanent structures.
Champion Commercial Structures, the commercial division of Champion Modular, Inc., specializes in providing modular solutions to some of the largest and most successful companies in the hospitality, multi-family, student housing, and energy services industries.
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Construction, Champion Commercial Structures is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with the construction documents. This position will be a key member of our team and will have the opportunity for substantial growth.
Essential Experience and Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, including preparation of preliminary budgets, submittals and schedules for prospective projects. Oversee offsite construction at Champion's facilities and monitor onsite construction at the project site to ensure compliance with the construction documents, safety requirements and company objectives. Source, qualify and engage material vendors to deliver projects on time and under budget.
Coordinate and direct superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants.
Provide excellent communication to all stakeholders regarding any changes, concerns, and updates throughout the project.
Review the work progress on a daily basis and provide daily reports
Analyze and manage emerging problems to manage and mitigate risks.
This position will require travel up to 40% of the time as particular projects require.

Required Education, Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college university
- Relevant industry experience.
- Ability to properly manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills to demonstrate and convey a thorough understanding of the entire development process.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and be able to develop accurate budget reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, schedules and other reporting as required.
- Verbal and written communication skills to audiences both inside and outside the company.
- Strong leadership and follow-up skills, with a "hands on" approach to completing all projects in a timely and efficient manner.
