Summary:
Receives, stores, and moves materials and product in addition to performing the following duties:
- Acts as a Material Handler and Stocker.
- Unloads trucks using forklift
- Moves materials to proper storage locations
- Moves material to appropriate production locations as needed and directed
- Loads and unloads materials on or off pallets, racks and/or shelves
- Follows appropriate loading and unloading procedures
- Is the first point of contact for production material requests
- Reports any shortages and/or damages to Head Receiver
- Enforces and implements all receiving and security procedures and policies
- Follows instructions from Materials Manager and Head Receiver
- Can effectively communicate with other Material Handlers and Stockers
- Ensures/delegates housekeeping duties are met daily.
- Follows all company Safety procedures
Education and/or Experience:
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent OR at least six months of related experience/training
- Must have Forklift Certification or be able to pass certification
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
- Keeps area neat and clean
- Reads and use a tape measure
- Reads blueprints and orders
- Communicates well with coworkers
- Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
- Other duties may be assigned.
Work Schedule:
The typical schedule for this position is 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Schedule may vary depending on production needs and overtime, though kept to a minimum, occasional scheduling changes may be required.
Education and/or Experience:
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand and follow safety procedures
