Summary
Champion Level Canvassing works with The World Wildlife Fund/WWF to find donors to support the WWF help humans, animals, and the environment and reduce the threats to the diverse life on Earth. As an Office Director at Champion Level Canvassing, you will play a vital role in advocating for meaningful causes through direct engagement with the community and developing canvassers to be the best they can be . This position is essential for driving awareness and support for various non-profit initiatives while embodying our commitment to inclusion and advocacy all while helping your career grow in a thriving environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with community members through Face-to-Face canvassing to promote non-profit initiatives while providing information about various causes and encourage support from potential donors.
- Utilize effective communication skills to build rapport with diverse audiences.
- Provide extensive mentoring and ongoing support to canvassers in your office/team
- Train and mentor new representatives on advocacy techniques and best practices.
- Monitor progress towards fundraising goals and report outcomes to fellow management.
- Foster a positive image of the organization through professional interactions.
- Ensure motivation and productivity are maintained
- Making sure all proper procedures are being followed
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in canvassing or sales roles, preferably in a non-profit or advocacy setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Experience in door-to-door canvassing/sales or face-to-face is required.
- Ability to negotiate and persuade potential supporters effectively.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances outreach capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership, or supervising experience
- Familiarity with market trends related to non-profit fundraising is beneficial.
