Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler and Machine Operator to join our team in Berea. If you have plastic experience in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and handling of materials within our facility or Machine Operation of a plastic injection machine.
Duties for Material Handler
- Will be working over in the material handling part of the shop. Will be responsible for moving 5 gallon buckets to staging areas. Will be putting materials(runners) into the grinding machines (dumped into the hopper), to be grinded up. Could also be stacking 50LB. boxes onto pallets and basic labeling. Very physical job. Max lift 60LBS.
Duties for the Machine Operator
- Will be working at a plastic injection machine. Machines are set up to operate, parts come out of the machine and are being dumped into a box. You will be taking the parts from the box and separating the runner from the part itself. Runners are put into one bin and the part in another bin. You will be inspecting the parts for any defects. Could be overseeing 2-3 machines at a time. 80% standing and 20% sitting. Very light lifting 5 – 10 LBS. There will be some training provided. Want people coming in to feel comfortable in the role
Will train on 1st shift for approximately for 2 weeks. Pay rate is $16 while in training and move too $17.75 for Material Handling. $15 for training and move too $16.75 for the Machine operator job.
