About the Role
This position involves receiving packaged product from the production department and ensuring it meets established quality assurance standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for stocking products in an efficient and timely manner using fork trucks, turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving finished goods from production, checking for quality and accuracy.
- Stocking products in a safe and efficient manner, following established procedures.
- Loading and unloading trucks from vendors and distributors, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Supporting outbound operations through order picking and refill processes.
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry using hand-held scanners.
- Developing awareness and understanding of quality assurance standards, adhering to company policies.
- SUPPORTING COMMUNITY EVENTS AND REPRESENTING CHAMPION PETFOODS IN A POSITIVE LIGHT
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with forklift operation and/or warehouse management.
