About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and stock finished goods from the production department, adhering to quality assurance standards.
- Operate fork trucks, turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks from vendors/distributors.
- Perform order picking and refill processes to support outbound operations.
- Use hand-held scanners to enter accurate product information into the Warehouse Management System.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure pallet license plates display correct product information.
- Support community-sponsored events and represent Champion Petfoods in a professional manner.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of forklift experience or equivalent warehouse experience.
