Description
We're seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our 2nd shift team at our state-of-the-art pet food manufacturing facility in Auburn, Kentucky. As a key player in our award-winning company, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of finished products within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive packaged product/finished goods from the Production department, ensuring it meets established quality assurance standards.
- Stock product in an efficient, orderly, and timely manner.
- Operate fork trucks, turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Loading and unloading trucks from and to vendors/distributors.
- Perform order picking and refill processes to support outbound operations.
- Use hand-held scanners to enter correct information for product packaged into the Warehouse Management System.
- Ensure pallet license plates accurately display product information.
- Develop awareness and understanding of quality assurance standards.
- Support and represent Champion Petfoods in community sponsored events.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years forklift experience and/or equivalent warehouse experience.
Working Conditions:
Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm. Work inside a clean, modern, state-of-the-art pet food manufacturing facility with brand new equipment.
