Champion is looking for Field Coordinators to support the Restart of the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, Michigan. This role reports to the Project Manager for the assigned work.
Overview
We are seeking two (2) dedicated and organized Field Coordinators to join our team. One role will work nights, the other days. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between various departments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations, helping coordinate schedules and resources effectively.
- Monitor work in the field by supporting project teams and providing updates on progress
- Help break down barriers to allow craft to complete their daily assignments
- Coordinate with project disciplines (Procurement, Engineering, Construction, Management) to ensure work progresses as scheduled
- Escalate issues in a timely manner
- Ability to work nights and/or days
Experience
- Proven experience in Nuclear as a Field Coordinator is ideal
- Knowledge of Asset Suite is a plus
- Ability to communicate with all project staff from craft to senior leadership
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
Per diem is available for this role.
