Job Title: Part-Time HR Assistant
Location: Champion Xpress Carwash
Reports To: HR Coordinator
Job Type: Part-Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Part-Time HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in HR while balancing other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Records: Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential.
  • Onboarding: Help facilitate the new employee onboarding process, including preparing orientation materials and assisting with the completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including assisting employees with benefit inquiries and updates.
  • Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll data and maintaining accurate attendance records.
  • HR Reporting: Help generate and maintain HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, and other workforce data.
  • Employee Relations: Assist with employee queries, resolve issues where possible, and escalate concerns to HR management as needed.
  • General Administrative Support: Perform general office duties, such as filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings as requested by the HR department.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous administrative experience, preferably in HR, is an advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of HR software is a plus.
  • Attributes:
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in the HR field.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday thru Friday 29 hours per week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • office work: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Filing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Calendar management: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Google Suite: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $12 - $15
