Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic After School Teachers to join our Champions team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and will be responsible for facilitating engaging activities that promote learning and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in various educational and recreational activities.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate programs that cater to the needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and collaboration among students.
- Maintain classroom management to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Provide support with homework, helping students with their academic needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other staff members regarding student progress and behavior.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to childcare and education.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in daycare, tutoring, or childcare settings is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Ability to educate and engage students through creative activities and structured programs.
- Experience in babysitting, camp counseling, or similar roles is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members.
