The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s dining facilities. This role involves managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive dining experience for guests. The Food & Beverage Manager coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve financial and operational goals.
\n- Ensure guests receive outstanding service, address complaints or issues promptly, and maintain a welcoming dining atmosphere.
- Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, including cocktail servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage scheduling.
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage budgets related to food and beverage operations, including labor costs and food and beverage costs. Prepare reports on financial performance and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with the executive chef to design and update menus, ensuring offerings are appealing and meet guest expectations.
- Develop and implement promotional activities to attract guests, such as special events, and partnerships with local businesses.
- Ensure high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and service.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any issues.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, gather feedback, and make improvements based on suggestions and reviews.
- Work closely with the hotel's front desk, hotel sales team, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and coordinate special events or group bookings.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with experience in a hotel setting being a plus.
- Food Handlers Certification/TABC Certified
