We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Fatherhood Program Coordinator to manage the Champions For Children’s Fathers Resource and Networking Community (FRANC) program. The FRANC program aims to enhance the health and well-being of children and families by supporting, encouraging, and promoting fathers’ roles in their child’s lives. This is a leadership level position responsible for coordination, outreach, and reporting of the Nurturing Parenting activities within the child welfare system. This position will coordinate care with the referring agencies, maintain relationships with partner community agencies and be a representative for fatherhood in various workgroups and initiatives.
Full-time position located out of Champions' Telecom location: 12937 N. Telecom Parkway, Temple Terrace, FL 33637
Bi-weekly salary: $1807.69 ($47,000.00 annually)

DUTIES:
- Cultivate and manage collaborative relationships with the child welfare and family serving agencies in the community.
- Nurture and maintain positive ongoing contact with individual referring case managers.
- Initiate first and timely contact with referred participants to gather required demographic and programmatic data.
- Schedule meetings with instructors to assure all participant needs are met.
- Adhere to the Nurturing Parenting ™ philosophy and model in all participant interactions.
- Plan outreach and special marketing events for recruitment purposes. Coordinate these efforts with other CFC programs.
- Complete accurate and timely data collection for reporting requirements.
- Coordinate program’s compliance to contract, grant, accreditation and agency requirements.
- Manage program expenses in according to established budgets and agency procedures.
- Conducts regular supervision, support, and training of assigned (2 to 3) part-time instructors including interns as needed. This includes individual supervision, regular staff meetings and completion of performance evaluations.
- Supports the agency’s performance and quality improvement processes.
- Attend staff meetings, on-going in-service training and reflective supervision as required.
- Participate in appropriate agency, department and community planning teams.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, child development, early childhood or related field.
- Preferred minimum of 3 years’ experience working with at-risk families.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute projects and tasks.
- Occasional evening and Saturday availability
- Ability to read, write, synthesize, evaluate, make decisions and communicate ideas with skill.
- High degree of interpersonal, presentation, and engagement skills
- Intermediate level ability with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, kneel, bend, reach, and manipulate objects; move materials up to 10 lbs on a regular basis; infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Some travel around Hillsborough County required.
- Must be sensitive to the culturally and socioeconomically diverse population Champions for Children serves.
- Must have a reliable car, active auto insurance, and valid Florida driver’s license
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle records check and drug screening.
