The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a positive dining experience. Servers are expected to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, be knowledgeable about the menu, and work efficiently to meet the needs of customers.

Responsibilites:

• Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and understanding of customer preferences
• Communicate orders to kitchen staff and ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any needs or concerns
• Answer questions about the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Suggest menu items and upsell food and beverages to enhance the guest experience
• Prepare tables for service, including setting silverware, napkins, and condiments
• Clear and clean tables after guests finish their meals, reset for the next guests
• Handle cash, process payments, and provide change accurately
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, promotions, and menu changes
• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a calm and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary
• Assist with opening and closing duties, such as stocking supplies, cleaning, and organizing the dining area
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
