What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Cheerleading Coach position at Champions in Motion INC?
Champions In Motion was established on the idea created by Bonnie Hood that all children should have equal opportunity for sports involvement. We are looking for excellent candidates to help us grow within the tri-city area and share the same morals and values with their communities. We are looking for energetic and friendly Coaches with experience in coaching a variety of age ranges in a recreational setting. This position is Part-Time.
Responsibilities of a Cheerleading Coach include:
· Teaching responsibilities which include class preparations, teaching students, overseeing class check-ins, and basic record-keeping.
· Creating Choreography that involves a wide variety of skill levels
· Instruction of safe techniques for skills
· Listening to the strengths and weakness of an athlete and assisting them grow within their talents.
· See that high standards are maintained throughout the entire cheer program.
· Directly responsible for the welfare and safety of athletes in the program.

Requirements of a Cheerleading Coach include:
· High school degree or equivalent
· Two years of cheer experience
· Reliable Transportation
· Yearlong commitment
· Professional, outgoing and approachable
· Strong written, communication, and customer service skills are essential as well as excellent grasp of internet and social media programs.
· Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
· Occasional meetings, clinics, and competitions each season.

Classes meet on Friday evenings. Training with start ASAP and commitment is required for every Friday evening as well as weekend events. There is a $25 background check fee that is reimbursable after six months of employment.
