What You’ll Do
This role allows you to make a meaningful impact during critical out-of-school hours. You will:
- Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create unique and engaging classroom experiences, leverage and develop “best in class” educators to be passionate and committed professionals
- Ensure your site is operating effectively; maintain licensing, safety, and educational standards
- Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
- Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites
The program operates Monday through Friday, with hours from 6:30–8:30 AM and 2:30–6:00 PM, totaling 32 hours per week. This includes time allocated for lesson planning, parent communication, and other related tasks.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a team environment, brings enthusiasm to their work, and has:
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or a related human services field, with relevant experience working with children OR
- Candidates with degrees in other fields must have 30 related credits in childcare related classes and 1-3 years of childcare experience, depending on the level of education.
- A solid understanding of child development and educational best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- The ability to meet state licensing requirements and pass background checks.
