Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the individual needs of students.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods, providing feedback to students and parents as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices in literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Provide early intervention support for students who may require additional assistance in their learning journey.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance while ensuring compliance with school policies.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching methodologies.
Experience
*** MUST be ACTIVE in Oregon's Central Background Registry (CBR) to be considered. ***
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development is highly desirable.
- Experience in childcare or private school environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of early intervention techniques and standardized testing practices is beneficial.
- A background in physical education or related fields will be considered an asset.
