What You Will Do:
Facilitate setups across the 13 different CNC machines and help perform 200 setups per month.
Manage setup performance utilizing our machine monitoring technology Amper
Manage and organize all the tooling associated with CNCs in the NC Lathe Value Stream
Assist operators with machine troubleshooting to improve productivity performance
Hold joint responsibility over managing a high-volume high mix machine shop that produces over 400 SKU’s
Organize and maintain the 5S condition of the setup area.
Respond promptly to setup and program changes.
Foster a positive, team-based attitude and collaborate effectively with others.
Identify and communicate set-up reduction and continuous improvement opportunities to supervision.
Back up production team leads as needed
Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Good computer skills
Ability to read & understand drawings and technical documents commensurate with machine operation
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Commitment to work overtime as needed
Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity
Basic math skills
Ability to use various inspection tools and gauges
Proven reliability and attendance record
Track record of continuous improvement participation
Understanding of PDCA process, including ability to solve work related problems
Physical Demands:
Physical abilities include being able to lift 30 pounds, and ability to stand or walk most of the day
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
