Cable Machine Operator
On-the-Job training will be provided.
General Tasks:
- Machine set-up
- Monitor machine operation
- Repair breaks
- Spool take off/remove from work area
- Clean up work area
- Paperwork
- Move product to next operation/department
To operate the cable machines that twin several wires together. Use of cable machines, spool movers, overhead hoists, skid plates, wire cutters. Job requires sustained standing, walking on cement floors and significant bending, pushing and pulling with weight limits ranging from 20 to 70 lbs. There is floor vibration while machines are in operation.
