Extrusion Machine Operator
On-the-Job training will be provided.
General Tasks:
- Machine set-up
- Mixing compound, colors, and ink
- Monitor machine operation/spool removal
- Inspect wire
- Clean up work area
- Paper work
- Move product to next operation/department
To operate the machines which insulates the larger wire. Use of extruders, roll movers, microscope and testing equipment, hand tools, vice, carts, lifts, drills, mixers, scoops, and rolling stairs. Job requires sustained standing, walking on cement floors and significant squatting, bending, pushing and pulling with weight limits ranging from 75 to 90 lbs.
