Warehouse Manager

Champlain Logistics Inc. is seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Manager with strong leadership skills to join our small team. The ideal candidate will oversee various warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and maintaining our high-quality standards. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to provide exceptional customer service and in preparing for increased volume in the coming months as we consolidate operations from our former 3PL warehouse.

Tasks:

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal.
• Follow operational policies and procedures. Review workflows, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, work projects, floor productivity, shipping, and receiving. Solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment. Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
• Ensure the safety of staff. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of all warehouse activities. Shipping and Receiving activity to be reported to Brome.
• Analyze various costs (shipping, materials, etc..) and make recommendations to reduce these costs where possible.
• Perform monthly inventory counts.
• Ensure compliance of the C-TPAT program.
• Work closely with the Inventory and Logistics Manager
