Reports To: Branch Manager and/or Assistant Branch Manager

Primary Work Schedule
8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday – Friday
The Branch Banker services as a central point of contact for clients, fostering long term-relationships and delivering exceptional service. This role requires a broad knowledge of banking products and services, as well as the ability to communicate effectively to assist clients in optimizing their financial health. Key responsibilities include processing a variety of banking transactions, opening consumer or business deposit accounts, and assisting the Branch manager in identifying new business opportunities and supporting branch operations.

- Receives deposits for, and pays withdrawals from, savings accounts of customers with proper identification and documents.
- Receives deposits for, and cashes checks from, customer checking and money market accounts, following the cash out procedure.
- Support branch operations by assisting customers with standard and non-standard teller transactions
- Open all types of deposit accounts whether consumer or business
- Assist the Branch manager with identifying new business opportunities, complete monthly surprise cash counts, and address and resolve customer concerns.
- Collaborate with various teams and departments to enhance service delivery.
- Processes requests for money orders and cashier’s checks.
- Redeems US Savings Bonds and process loan payments.
- Process Canadian foreign exchange transactions to include processing checks through Key Bank.
- Introduces new services to customers to build customer relationships.
- Maintain balancing records within the Teller Difference Policy and Procedures.
- Assist customers with questions pertaining to their relationships with the Bank.
- Assist customers by verifying balances, receiving change of address requests, or updating their CIF (Customer Information File) records or closing accounts, as requested.
- Allow customers access to safe deposit boxes, following the specified procedures.
- Perform additional duties as requested.

- High degree of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processing transactions and cash handling.
- Strong communication skills, mathematical skills, reasoning ability.
- Ability to work productively as a team player as well as independently.
- Experience in Windows environment.
- Ability to sell and refer bank products while representing the Bank in a professional and caring manger.
- Ability to follow all branch related policies and procedures, especially those relating to the security and protection of confidential customer information and cash handling.
Salary : $19 - $22
