Multigrade First and Second Classroom Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher for a multigrade first and second-grade classroom to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment that aligns with our Christian values. This role involves teaching a range of subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies from a Christian perspective. Experience or specialty in reading instruction and primary math skills preferred. Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our school's curriculum and Christian values. Maintain a well-organized and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning. Provide individualized support to students as needed, ensuring each child reaches their full potential. Foster strong relationships with parents through regular updates and collaboration. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field. Vermont teaching certification or eligibility for certification. Prior teaching experience preferred but not required. A personal commitment to Christian values and the ability to integrate these into teaching practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
