Description
The Apprentice Crew Member will be responsible for safely working in homes of low-income Vermonters and/or construction sites. This can involve the usual hazards of construction, including but not limited to entering small spaces (attics, crawl spaces, knee walls), being on ladders or scaffolding, using power tools, etc. The Apprentice Crew Member will install energy-saving measures in the homes of low-income Vermonters; ensure a safe work environment; and conduct daily equipment safety inspections, & report findings to Crew Lead and Production Manager.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have basic knowledge of hand tools utilized to install weatherization measures; the ability to follow established health and safety procedures; safely use power tools and equipment, including on ladders; and work in a professional manner with coworkers and clients. Must possess a valid driver’s license (insurable by CVOEO’s carrier) and have access to reliable transportation.
