The CSW Eligibility Specialist/VITA Coordinator will provide direct services to low-income households such as: intake and eligibility screening, assisting with completing and submitting applications and forms for various services and programs, including 3SquaresVT and Farm to Family Coupons, and provide referrals to other programs and agencies. Coordinate and organize overall effort for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Tax Program, in collaboration with the CVOEO VITA Program Manager, including recruitment and supervision of VITA volunteers, acting as a VITA Site Coordinator, and ensuring IRS Quality Control Standards.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline plus two years of community service experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Accounting and/or income tax preparation experience is highly desirable. Current notary license or working with supervisor toward completion within the first 90 working days and Healthcare navigation certification or working with supervisor toward completion within the first 90 working days.
