The Housing Advocate is responsible for providing comprehensive services to participants in need of emergency and
permanent housing through shelters and hotels, and regularly collaborating with Franklin/Grand Isle Community Action

Requirements
An Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in Human Service field, (i.e., Social Work, Counseling,
Childhood Education, etc.) or equivalent education/experience and a knowledge of domestic and sexual violence issues.
