What are the responsibilities and job description for the (Anticipated) CVSD Early Education Intensive Paraprofessional, Part-time position at Champlain Valley School District (VT)?
CVSD seeks an energetic paraprofessional to join our early education team. This is a 4 day a week position at Hinesburg Community School, for up to 28 hours per week. We are seeking a warm, highly organized, and dynamic individual to support an inclusive preschool classroom. We are looking for a skilled, caring individual to provide support for individual and small groups of students in personal development, personal care, behavior support, and social-emotional skills. The candidate will be an advocate of inclusive education, a problem-solver and strong collaborator, and a positive team member. The ability to promote child growth and foster independence and a willingness to learn is essential.
Ideal Qualifications: Coursework in early childhood education and 2-3 years of experience.
Please note that lifting may be a requirement for this job. Position may include supporting students on the bus ride to or from school.
