Champlain Valley School District is seeking an innovative, energetic and collaborative Early Childhood Special Educator to join our CVSD Early Education team. We seek a warm, highly organized and dynamic individual to teach and collaborate with other professionals in our early education program which serves young children through a multi-tiered system of support with a mixed-delivery model of universal prekindergarten. Qualified candidates will be dynamic practitioners and advocates for students with a variety of abilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing special education services to young children ages 3-5, will be experienced in ECSE assessment and data collection, and will be skilled at implementing researched-based interventions in Early Childhood Special Education.
Candidates should have experience providing inclusive, embedded instruction and support across a variety of learning environments and a strong ability to foster supportive relationships with families. Qualified candidates will have experience implementing Pyramid Model Practices and providing high-quality learning opportunities that are aligned with the VT Early Learning Standards. In addition, knowledge of childcare regulations, special education rules, and program certification is a must. Priority will be given to applicants who possess both Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education endorsements. Job ID# 4977197
