Position:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Apparel Color Lab Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in color theory by giving the participant access to our team’s role in developing and managing color of textile and trims, specifically in the context of team sports uniforms. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in color theory, textiles, and fashion product development.
Key Responsibilities:- Trained on our color standards and best practices.
- Digitally measure physical fabric submittals and prepare for visual evaluation as needed.
- Organize and maintain the color library, including digital and physical samples
- Support the Color Lab team on all functions.
- Document test results, maintain records, and prepare reports for internal teams.
- Participate in meetings to understand how the color team works with other teams to respond to overall company goals.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Textile Science, Fashion Design, Color Theory, or a related field.
- Attention to detail with the ability to distinguish color variations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Duration: Typically, 3–4 months, depending on the company's needs.
- Location: On-site at 2800 Lakeside Drive Bannockburn, IL 60015
- Compensation: Paid intern working 24 hours per week from 8:00am – 4:00pm
