Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field required
At least 5 years of experience in Graphic Design / Marketing
Proven project management and managerial / leadership experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent creative and innovative skills
Sense of urgency with effective time management and multitasking skills
Knowledge of interactive design including best practices in technology, usability and user experience
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Ability to use strong analytical and artistic approach to solve complex issues
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite or related software
Responsibilities
The Graphic Design Manager collaborates on projects with the Marketing Director, delegates tasks, and checks projects for quality and consistency
Develops and implements successful design strategies by outlining how the team will create the project’s deliverables and encourages team members throughout a project
Lead and inspire a team of graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence
Delegates job responsibilities among junior team members and oversees that quality work is being completed within the deadline
Analyzes and plans the framework of design according to the laid-out concept and established specifications of the project
Assists with marketing efforts
Ensures consistency in visual identity and messaging across various platforms and mediums
Oversees that new techniques and processes are used to provide the best quality of designs
Stays updated on industry trends and integrates innovative design approaches into projects
Reviews and approves all design deliverables to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality
Works in collaboration with the Marketing Director and colleagues across different departments to ensure all expectations are sufficiently met
Ensures that deadlines are met
Performs other related duties as assigned
