Champs South Texas Meat Market is a growing, locally owned business providing top-quality meat products to customers in the Coastal Bend area. We have 4 store locations: 1 in Calallen/Robstown area, 1 off of Everhart Road and SPID in Corpus Christi, 1 on the Island and 1 in Victoria. Started by two Texas cattle ranchers with a mission to bring premium beef and more local food products direct to its customers. Champs believes in providing customers with a shopping experience which is positive and unique to each customer.
We are currently seeking a Sales Champion to provide exemplary customer service, preferably with retail sales experience, to join our team. The ideal Champion is one who will assist in providing a positive shopping experience to our customers, and has a desire to expand their knowledge, skills, with the potential to advance within the Champs team. The ability to have effective verbal skills with not only customers, but with fellow employees is essential for this position.

Job Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated and personable Retail Sales Associate to join the Champs Meat Market team at our Star Location. In this role you will be the face of Champs South Texas Meat Market, representing our retail locations and interacting with customers daily. Greeting the customer upon entering the store, informing them of the weekly specials, assist in finding products, suggesting optional items, completing sales transaction and ensuring the customer has an overall great experience at Champs.
Must be eager to learn on the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Greet customers as they enter the store, engage in conversation, and help with any inquiries or questions they may have.
- Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit cards and other payment methods and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Keep the store organized, clean, and fully stocked, including merchandise display, and conducting inventory counts.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner; consulting with the store manager for direction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and promote a positive work environment.
- Courteously answering calls and order-taking
Champs hours of operation
Mondays – Saturdays, 10am – 7pm & Sundays, 10am – 5pm
