What are the responsibilities and job description for the Charge Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery position at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber?
This position is responsible for overseeing the Ambulatory Services Unit (ASU) management function including proper staffing levels to meet patient and physician needs and provide a positive outcome. This position is also responsible for monitoring employee performance, financial management with assistance from the Director of Surgical Services, relationship to all other departments within the institution while meeting regulatory agency guidelines. Valid/current RN license, BLS, Dysrhythmia, ACLS required. Five years of nursing or related experience in Operating Room/Ambulatory Surgery required. Leadership experience preferred.
