What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant – WindberCare Surgical position at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber?
This position is responsible for providing clerical support including scheduling, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, and miscellaneous billing. This position is also responsible for answering the telephone, ordering department supplies, and filing and maintaining current records for the office. Two years experience working as a Medical Assistant in an office setting required & CPR required. At least 2 yrs experience in scheduling and prior authorizations required.
