The Opportunity
The Parsa Group or Immune Cell Dynamics and Function research group, focuses on investigating the functional and clonal dynamics of T cells, exploring how T cell fate decisions are made and how these decisions impact their functions in different disease contexts. Using a combination of genetically engineered mice, disease models, and single cell technologies, we aim to uncover the principles governing T cell fate and their functional roles across tissues. The Chan Zuckerberg Biohub is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated early-career scientist to join the Parsa Group as a Research Scholar. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further their scientific training while contributing to an innovative, rigorous, and collaborative research program aligned with the CZ Biohub mission. Applicants should have a background in a field relevant to immunology to advance the early detection, prevention, and treatment of a wide variety of diseases. The scholar will receive specialized training in research focused on T cell dynamics and function.

The Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network requires all employees, regardless of work location or type of role, to provide proof of their initial COVID-19 vaccination by their start date. Compensation
New hires are typically hired into the lower portion of the range, enabling employee growth in the range over time. To determine starting pay, we consider multiple job-related factors including a candidate's skills, education and experience, market demand, business needs, and internal parity.
