The Central team at CZI consists of our Finance, People & DEI, Real Estate, Events, Workplace, Facilities, Security, Brand & Communications, Business Systems, Central Operations, Strategic Initiatives, and Ventures teams. These teams provide strategic support and operational excellence across the board at CZI.
The Opportunity
As the Operations Manager of DEIA, you will be instrumental in identifying and operationalizing areas for improvement throughout the diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility team's programmatic efforts at CZI. This role focuses on implementing project plans to enhance our systems processes and infrastructure to scale DEIA efforts organization-wide.
In this position, you will manage and enable coordinated efforts across various stakeholders to implement DEIA projects and programs and utilize data, experience, and best practices to deliver creative solutions to track, analyze, and report progress in pursuit of operational excellence toward CZI's DEIA objectives.
What You'll Do
Project Management & Planning
- Develop and manage project plans for DEIA initiatives, including timelines, toolkits, templates, databases, budgets, and resource allocation
- Track progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Plan and implement DEIA projects and programs, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables; creating schedule and project timelines; tracking deliverables; monitoring and reporting on project progress; and evaluating and assessing results
- Organize external strategic partnerships to support DEIA goals and development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DEIA programs and initiative

Compensation
The Redwood City, CA base pay range for this role is $135,000 - $203,000. New hires are typically hired into the lower portion of the range, enabling employee growth in the range over time. Actual placement in range is based on job-related skills and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process. Pay ranges outside Redwood City are adjusted based on cost of labor in each respective geographical market.
