Job Summary
ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans and promote positive student outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement proactive strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive student outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff on implementing behavior management systems and strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with passage of basic skills test.
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field highly preferred.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
- Prior experience working with individuals with severe learning, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders.
- Prior experience working with students in an educational program setting preferred.
