JOB OVERVIEW
Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group, in partnership with ABM Aviation, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Parking Attendant Supervisor to oversee our parking attendants at Memphis International Airport. This is a working supervisor position where you will be required to work a set shift while also handling supervisory responsibilities.
As a Parking Attendant Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking services, leading by example, and providing support to our team to deliver exceptional customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and manage a team of parking attendants, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Work a set shift while also performing supervisory duties, including assisting with day-to-day operations.
- Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage based on business needs.
- Handle employee matters, including performance issues, counseling, and conflict resolution.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to ensure high standards of service.
- Attend management meetings with airport authorities and other stakeholders.
- Issue employee counseling statements, uniforms, and other necessary memos and documents.
- Maintain and monitor the weekly budget, ensuring expenses are within approved limits.
- Ensure all employee timecards are accurately updated and approved.
- Adjust scheduling based on operational needs and business demands.
- Conduct on-site hiring to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Drive airport-owned vehicles through parking areas to count available vehicle spaces and assist with operations as needed.
- Assist with customer service duties, including jump starts, vehicle lockouts, and other related tasks.
- Ensure the cleanliness of airport-owned vehicles and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers, employees, and airport personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a customer service or parking operations environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to create and manage employee schedules effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle employee relations matters professionally.
- Ability to work a set shift while managing supervisory responsibilities.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with no suspensions.
- Ability to obtain a TSA-issued badge, which requires a clean criminal record.
- Must pass a drug screening prior to employment and always remain drug-free during employment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- This is an outdoor position. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
