Job Summary
The Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall Chandler Cardinals Club Baseball administration and strategic planning of tournaments within the organization. This position requires strong leadership abilities and a commitment to enhancing educational outcomes. The Assistant Director will collaborate with baseball coaches, director and players.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of baseball club policies and programs that align with the institution's mission.
- Educate coaching staff on best practices in pitching.
- Manage tournament operations, pitching coach responsibilities.
- Enhance program effectiveness and players success.
- Oversee advertising budget.
- Provide leadership and support to coaching staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Conduct regular assessments of pitching ability of players.
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience as a baseball pitching coach or more.
- Proven experience in leadership roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate diverse players ages 11 to 14.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, coaches, players, and administrative staff.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diversity within the academic community.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.86 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- After school
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Baseball Pitching: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
