Chandler Equipment Inc., based in Springdale, AR, is a leading manufacturer of components for the transportation industry. Since 1978, we've evolved from an agricultural equipment distributor to a key provider of truck accessories, manway hatches, and more.
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be essential in overseeing daily operations and supporting the overall financial functions of the organization.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and lead the finance and accounting teams, ensuring all records comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Manage day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff to ensure high performance
- Prepare and present various financial reports and analysis for executive management
- Oversee the period-end accounting close process and meet reporting deadlines
- Manage audit processes and ensure that proper internal controls are in place
- Develop a strong understanding of the production environment to provide analytical support to other departments on accounting-related issues
- Identify and drive continuous cost improvements across the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to manage team members effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
