Position Overview:

Backwoods Adventure Mods is looking for experienced MIG Welders to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of our team that focuses heavily on manufacturing premium products for adventure vans. As a MIG Welder, you will play a central role in the production of top-tier van accessories, including roof racks, bumpers, and other essential components designed to enhance the adventure van experience. These products are built to meet the highest standards of strength, durability, and innovation, and your welding expertise will ensure they’re crafted to perfection.

You will be working with aluminum tubing and other high-performance materials, ensuring that each weld is precise and consistent. This role is vital in supporting our growing demand for high-quality adventure van accessories, and you will help us deliver products that reflect our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum tubing (1.5 inch variety) and other aluminum components, ensuring high-quality welds with precision and consistency.
• Handle materials and products weighing 50 pounds, ensuring safety and efficiency during production.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure that our products meet Backwoods Adventure Mods’ high standards for performance and durability.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Quickly become familiar with the specific products and manufacturing methods used by Backwoods Adventure Mods, applying your welding skills to produce high-quality components for adventure vans.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on MIG welding experience, with a focus on aluminum tubing (1.5 inch).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Precision and attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in automotive or adventure accessories, is a plus.
• AWS Certification (Certified Welder or similar) is preferred but not required.
