CNC Machinist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Chandler Industries, Inc. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer-controlled machines to perform various manufacturing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs all job requirements per documented procedures, routings, CNC programs, inspection instructions, tool lists, SPC instructions, and any other related documents and instructions.
- Operates computer-controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions on various material work-pieces.
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures and cutting tools using hand tools and tool length off-set equipment.
- Transfers programs and offsets from servers or USB drive to computer numerical control modules.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years CNC Machinist experience.
- Routinely performs set-ups including complex set-ups and make offsets/work coordinates as needed.
- Intermediate math skills (i.e. trigonometry, geometry, etc.).
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
