About the Role
This role is responsible for inspecting and testing materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and testing materials, components, and finished products using work instructions, job travelers, blueprints, engineer drawings, and specifications.
- Selecting and maintaining appropriate tools, gauges, scales, and equipment for feature or characteristic required to perform inspection and testing.
- Verifying calibration status of materials and equipment.
- Performing visual inspections for conformance.
- Running CMMs in production environment.
- Accurately documenting and recording inspection or test data.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum two years quality inspection experience in the Aerospace, Medical or other highly regulated industry.
- Experience operating a CMM, preferably Keyence Vision System.
- Proficient reading, writing, oral communication and comprehension in English language.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- BASIC math skills.
- Ability to pass annual visual exam (20-25, corrected, uncorrected, one eye).
- Ability to view small parts using a Microscope.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingsness to learn.
