Job Details
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED. The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience. Flexibility is a must. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
Job Requirements
3 full years of current ICU experience
Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Active AZ license or compact license
Ability to float to sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed
Every other weekend is required
Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts
Pass / fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation
Schedule Information
Contract length of 13 weeks
Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage
Self-scheduling. Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs
3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday. Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday
May have 1 holiday off in an assignment
No additional call / standby shifts required
Unit Specific Information
SICU : Trauma, neuro and specialty devices
MCU : Medical Cardiac Overflow
CVICU : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
Charge Nurse responsibilities : Yes, do not take patients

Surgical ICU - Trauma Neuro Surgery
Level 1 trauma Center
COVID, sepsis, ARDS, common titratable & set rate drips
No nursing aids, only sitters and Health Unit Secretary
