Job Details

  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced Tele nurses for a travel assignment.
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Neuro overflow, CVAs, trauma, general surgery.

    • Job Requirements

  • 2 years of experience, and hold an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shifts : 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit : B3A - Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro - 2 years minimum experience, required.
  • beds : 26
  • Ratios : 1 : 3-4
  • Charge Nurse : Yes, no patient assignment.
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend.
  • Scrub Color : Navy.
  • Tele : Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Neuro, CVAs, pulmonary, general Telemetry.
  • EOW, first to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.

    • Additional Details

  • COVID vaccine is required, or religious or medical declination form (with appropriate supporting documentation from clergy or M.D.).
  • Travelers must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (2 max attempts).
  • There is also a pass / fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions).
