Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various martial arts disciplines, including Karate, Judo, Boxing, Tai Chi and other sports coaching experiences. This role involves educating students of all ages in martial arts techniques, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and respect within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups.
- Instruct students in martial arts techniques, including but not limited to Karate, Judo, Taewondo, Boxing and Tai Chi.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages personal growth and self-discipline.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Organize and lead practice sessions, drills, and sparring activities.
- Promote the benefits of physical education and fitness through martial arts training.
- Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety rules and guidelines.
- Participate in community events to promote the martial arts program and engage with potential students.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in martial arts instruction or sports coaching is preferred.
- Proficiency in multiple martial arts disciplines such as Karate or Judo is highly desirable.
- Background in physical education or related fields is an asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate students effectively.
- A passion for fitness, health, and teaching others the values of martial arts.
- Certification as a personal trainer, boxing coach, yoga instructor can be beneficial but is not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
