We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Dual Diagnosis Worker to join our Team.
In this impactful position, you’ll work closely with Community Mental Health Teams, supporting individuals in the community with complex needs. Your expertise will enable service users to engage with recovery and reintegrate into society, helping those who face both substance use and mental health challenges. Your role will be instrumental in coordinating care plans, delivering targeted support, and fostering social reintegration.
Location: Barnet
Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full time Salary Range: £32,002.35 - £34,214.20 (pro rata for part time hours)
Allowance: Outer London Weighting £2195.75 (paid pro rata)
Responsibilities
About the Role
- Deliver Targeted Support: Provide outcome-focused recovery plans for individuals ready to engage in treatment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve lasting change.
- Facilitate Joint Working Protocols: Work with mental health and substance misuse services, including CMHTs and psychological therapy teams, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.
- Advocate and Coordinate Care: Act as the primary contact for dual diagnosis cases, promoting social reintegration, harm reduction, and ongoing recovery.
- Data and Record Management: Maintain accurate records, ensuring timely data collection and reporting.
About You
- Experienced: You have worked effectively with vulnerable individuals, particularly those with substance misuse and mental health challenges, and have a sound understanding of dual diagnosis.
- Effective Communicator: Skilled in de-escalation, conflict resolution, and advocating for service users.
- Flexible and Proactive: Able to work across various sites and adapt to meet the needs of service users.
- Collaborative: You thrive in team settings, working well with multidisciplinary professionals and community agencies.
